Game Overview
The Abandoned is a short First Person Horror experience where you will solve puzzles and use your abilities to defeat waves of enemies while you uncover the story one chapter at a time. Chapter 1 : Awakening is included with this purchase of The Abandoned, with the remaining three chapters being released as DLC as they are developed. The developer has planned many content updates along the way as well. The player assumes the role of our main character, let’s leave him unnamed for now. He is a young man, recently married, but still with a bit of a wild side. After a long weekend night out with a few friends he awakens to find himself on an old dirt path deep in some remote forest. After cursing his friends for dumping him out here, he realizes that the real problem is figuring out where here is and how to get back home.
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Abandoned” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
