Game Overview
A prequel to the visual novel Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse, which follows Takamura Yui and her friends during their time as surface pilot cadets. Originally a novel written as a special bonus for buyers of the full set of DVD/Blu-rays of the “Total Eclipse” anime, it was later adapted into a game, which we’re now making available on Steam! Follow the past of Takamura Yui, and see what made her into the woman she is at the time of Total Eclipse. As the cherry blossoms fall in spring, Takamura Yui enters Yamayuri Girls’ Surface Pilot Academy as a new cadet. With the pride of a surface pilot in her heart, Yui trains daily with her fellow students. But there’s one student in particular that stands out to her above the rest… Yamashiro Kazusa. Kazusa seems like everything that Yui wants to be, and Yui feels a mixture of sympathy and envy towards her. And then, in 1998, the fateful day comes… The BETA finally land on the Japanese mainland, advancing eastward with unstoppable force and eventually reaching the outskirts of Kyoto. Yui and her companions are called to the battlefield. What fate awaits these newly commissioned officers?
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Imperial Capital Burns - Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

🛠 Easy Setup Guide
- Check for missing DLL files: Navigate to the
_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the game’s executable file and select “Run as Administrator” to avoid save issues.
