Game Overview
AI Learns To Drive is a sandbox simulation where you can create and train your own AI to drive a racing car across different tracks. The AI uses a simple feed-forward artificial neural network and is trained using evolutionary algorithms.
- Edit AI: Customize your AI’s neural network. Adjust settings like the number of layers and neurons to see how they affect learning. Experiment with different setups.
- Edit Tracks: Design your own tracks with easy-to-use track editor. Choose from surfaces like asphalt, ice, and dirt to challenge your AI in various driving conditions.
- Training: Train your AI using evolutionary algorithms. Over multiple generations, select the best-performing agents to create new, improved ones. Adjust training settings like time time limit, learning rate, and the number of agents to optimize learning.
- Challenges: Test your AI’s skills in campaign challenges. Earn stars by achieving goals like completing laps within a time limit, reaching high scores, or mastering tough tracks. Each challenge helps your AI improve.
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to AI Learns to Drive” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

🛠 Easy Setup Guide
- Check for missing DLL files: Navigate to the
_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the game’s executable file and select “Run as Administrator” to avoid save issues.
