I’ve been coding. if I stare at the screen long enough answers come to me. that’s my super power. outside, the city is sleeping. but the caret is blinking at me. and this new disk I got, it’s brutal. Comet 64 is a programming puzzle game. The year is 1984. All you got is a Comet
64 home computer and the operator’s manual it came with.
- Read the documentation (exists both in-game, and as a pdf) and figure out how
to operate this 80s computer. - Learn its assembly-like (but not quite) programming language.
- Solve 50+ input – output processing puzzles.
- Improve your solution and minimize your instruction and cycle counts to compete
in the Leaderboards. - Solve bonus visual grid-based puzzles.

Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Comet 64” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
