Game Overview
Imagine – what if necromancy and magic spells were no different than writing some lines of code? In GHOSTWARE you’ll play as Molly, brought back to life and trapped inside of an arena shooter along with five other souls. But there is something inherently wrong with the world created by the mysterious Wizard.
GHOSTWARE is a mixture of hectic retro-fps action and slower pace of the adventure games. Gather your arsenal and journey through multiple dimensions, uncovering your role in the conspiracy surrounding the creation of The Arena.
- Explore multiple worlds full of perils and wonders: Your story will lead you through multiple dimensions, each fundamentally impacting the gameplay loop. Traverse the decaying cyber-afterlife conjured by the Wizard and explore various locales in the real world outside the simulation.
- Interact with a colourful cast of friends, foes, and everything in between: Numerous actors are at play, each with their own motives and interactions for you to uncover. Engage with various factions, converse with fellow ghosts.
- Hybrid gameplay inspired by 90s FPS like Unreal and Metroidvanias: You will find yourself immersed in a highly atmospheric journey through strange and varied environments, ranging from abandoned arenas and tropical islands to urban cityscapes, uncovering numerous secret areas hidden off the beaten path.
- Bring mayhem with an extensive array of guns and unlockable abilities: The Virtual and the Real World feature their own separate array of weapons for a total of more than 12 guns. Each weapon brings its own quirks and advantages to combat encounters, adding depth and strategy to your gameplay experience.
- Browse the WebScape in search of secrets, find out what the world’s been up to: Embark on a journey through ancient web forums, delve into forsaken blogs, and download new abilities from suspicious links. Each new URL is a piece of the puzzle that will help you uncover what the happened in the world during your eternal slumber
- Extra Gamemodes: Dive into the Arcade and enjoy custom matches against bots, where you can tailor the ruleset, select your character, and much more for a relaxed and personalized gaming experience separate from the single-player campaign.
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to GHOSTWARE: Arena of the Dead” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

🛠 Easy Setup Guide
- Check for missing DLL files: Navigate to the
_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the game’s executable file and select “Run as Administrator” to avoid save issues.
