Game Overview
I HAD A PLAN! You are a Wizard. A brilliant Wizard, with a brilliant plan. Unfortunately you also have team mates. As you make your way through dungeons and enchanted forests alike, you need to manage your team mates… and your frustration. I Had A Plan! is a Tactical Roguelite Semi-Autobattler, which takes place in a 3D world with Hex Grids, using 2D Characters.
GIVE COMMANDS! You don’t fight with your Wizard directly, instead you can give your team orders, which they might follow. If they do listen, they follow your orders and get a small bonus to that action. If they do not however, your frustration grows. Your frustration meter is vital, once it fills up, there is only one answer: Fireball.
WATCH THEM FIGHT! Don’t feel like telling them what to do? Maybe they’re smart enough to win by themselves! Or maybe they’re not, and they’ll burn, it’s a win-win!

Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to I Had a Plan!” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

🛠 Easy Setup Guide
- Check for missing DLL files: Navigate to the
_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the game’s executable file and select “Run as Administrator” to avoid save issues.
