Sakuraba Rie, aged nine, is a cynical and grumpy girl who doesn’t get along with her classmates. Rie is so haughty, she doesn’t have a single friend. This all changes, however, when a self-proclaimed demon from the deepest, darkest pits of Hell suddenly appears in her kitchen to steal a tray of cookies.

What will happen between Rie and her demonic companion? Will Rie be able to forge a friendship with Licia, the cookie-stealing demon, or perhaps something more?
