Game Overview
The Rangers in the South is a PIXELART ACTION ROGUELIKE RPG set in a beautiful 2.5D world inspired by the SNES classics. Fight and design a unique strategy with hundreds of alternatives to explore different biomes and challenges!
- EXPLORE: Explore a hand-drawn world full of details, discover secrets and points of interest in a game that rewards exploration, with more than 5 biomes, procedurally generated environments, dungeons, and villages.
- BUILD YOUR CHARACTER: No predefined classes, with hundreds of unique abilities, character traits, and procedurally generated equipment, you’ll have to carve your path through hordes of enemies to make each character unique! Be careful, death is irreversible!
- REPLAYABILITY IS THE WAY: Death will be your best teacher! Start new characters to discover new possibilities, items, and abilities. But not all is lost! Progress between each character is stored in the form of exploration, items, and gold!
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Rangers in the South” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
