Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova is a 4X turn-based strategy game set in the 24th century where you take on the role of leading a spacefaring civilization that has just developed faster-than-light (FTL) travel.
You begin the game with only your home planet and must research new technologies, explore the known galaxy, and colonize new worlds while keeping your people at home happy. At the same time, you will engage in trade, diplomacy, intrigue and war with other alien civilizations. Thanks to the invention of hyperdrive, your people are now ready to discover new worlds, encounter alien civilizations, and learn about the dark history that encompasses them all.
Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova gives you an entire galaxy to explore and customize. Using cutting-edge AI technology, you will be able to create entire civilizations that both look and feel unique just by entering a few lines of text. The AI will generate custom lore, diplomatic dialogues, starship choices, and ambassador images, leaving you with a one-of-a-kind civilization to play as or against.
Each civilization has a unique story to tell and is powered by a sophisticated and nuanced AI entity with its own ambitions and goals. Our unrivaled ship design lets you stay ahead in an endless arms race by designing custom starships to counter your adversaries’ strengths.

Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Galactic Civilizations IV” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
