Game Overview
Be a part of the early development of Astride by joining the early access program. As our team continues to work on the game, we will be releasing frequent updates and collaborating with our community to shape the ultimate horse-riding experience. Be sure to read up on the currently available game features before purchasing, so you know exactly what to expect from the game. Astride is currently in a pre-alpha state.
Features Currently Available
- Realistic horse customization – The Astride horse creator offers an array of horse coat color options for you to discover. Select base colors, face markings (full-face, upper, and lower-face), leg markings, and tobiano patterns to customize your horse’s appearance. Observe how various genes influence the coat and bring your dream horse to life!
- Multiplayer – Whether you prefer playing with friends or riding out alone, Astride offers a fully functional multiplayer feature. Explore the indoor and outdoor arenas with your friends or complete strangers. You have the flexibility to host private servers for intimate gatherings or join public servers to meet fellow players from around the world.
- Show jumping prototype – The initial iteration of the show jumping system is now available for testing. Observe how strides impact the horse’s jumping capabilities and master the art of creating the ideal lineup for jumping. Stay tuned for additional updates to the jumping prototype in the near future.
Installation Instructions
- Click the green button below to be redirected to UploadHaven.com.
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on the “free download” button. Allow the file transfer to complete (note that speeds may be slower with the free plan; upgrading to UploadHaven Pro will increase speeds).
- Once the transfer is complete, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Astride” (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
- Open the folder that you just extracted and run the game as administrator.
- Enjoy the game! If you encounter any missing DLL errors, check the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all necessary programs.

🛠 Easy Setup Guide
- Check for missing DLL files: Navigate to the
_Redistor_CommonRedistfolder in the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and other dependencies. - Use 7-Zip to extract files: If you receive a “file corrupted” error, re-download and extract again.
- Run as Administrator: Right-click the game’s executable file and select “Run as Administrator” to avoid save issues.

- Antivirus False Positives: Temporarily pause your antivirus software during extraction to prevent it from mistakenly blocking game files.
- Update GPU Drivers: For better performance, update your NVIDIA drivers or AMD drivers.
- Game won’t launch? Try compatibility mode or install missing DirectX updates.
- Still getting errors? Some games require updated Visual C++ Redistributables. Download the All-in-One VC Redist Package and install all versions.
